Technical Support/​QA Specialist (remote possible)

That’s why we built Kadonation Select: an intuitive platform that allows more than 750 companies to set up a well thought-out appreciation policy in no time. Our software relieves HR and procurement of the administrative hassle of employee gifts.

We’re looking for…

… a Technical Support/​QA Specialist to strengthen our international development team of 7 people.

You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers (2nd line), both internal and external, resolving technical issues. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reliability of our products as well as customer satisfaction.

If you live in Belgium/​are able to commute to our HQ, that’s a big plus.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist internal & external stakeholders; providing prompt and effective technical support.

  • Resolve tech support issues; creating clear Jira bug tickets after analyzing and troubleshooting technical problems. You can correct small issues yourself.
  • Manage technical support documentation; creating clear and user friendly guides for our team members.
  • Feedback loop; proactively propose solutions to prevent issues in the future.
  • Proactive technical support; managing logs & exceptions.
  • Monitor potential security issues
  • First point of contact for internal IT issues.

Your profile

We need our next team member to possess the following skills/​characteristics:

Soft skills

  • Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus)

  • You’re a teamplayer, very punctual and a natural problem solver

  • You are a structured worker and you have an analytical mind
  • You’re customer focused

Hard skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar job
  • Technical support related to PHP, Vue.JS, MySQL
  • Great in troubleshooting
  • Analytical
  • Your time zone should not differ by more than 2 hours from the Belgian time zone (GMT+2)

These skills are a plus:

  • Coding experience
  • Working with New Relic
  • Working with Sentry
  • CloudOps skills (we work with Google Cloud)
