… a Founder Associate – CFO support (financial/​legal) who supports Jelle (co-founder and CFO) with the finance & legal pillars of Kadonation. For this unique position we are looking for a generalist who is eager to learn a lot within this huge learning envi­ron­ment. You will be supervised by the CFO but will have plenty of room for inde­pen­dence and growing your knowledge. In this role you will come into contact with various facets of business operations, with a major focus on the financial/​legal.

What are your respon­si­bil­i­ties?

• Financial project work (in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the accountant): financial reporting, preparing files, fore­cast­ing, optimizing reporting, optimizing financial statements, functional analyses, preparing budgets, subsidy files, etc.
  
  
• Financial monitoring: cash flow, budgets, point of contact for internal and external accountant, etc.

• Management of insurance files.

• Legal project work (often in col­lab­o­ra­tion with external consultant): management and critical evaluation of legal documents, lead in setting up foreign entity, etc.
  
  
• Legal follow-up: management of contracts, sparring partner for HR Officers on legal issues, support for legal due diligence and legal for­mal­i­ties, internal SPOC for external con­sul­tants, etc.
  
  
• Sales and Marketing analyses: support in setting up and monitoring KPIs and OKRs, analyses, etc.
  
  
• Commercial legal: support with tender sub­mis­sions, point of contact for customers, etc.
  
  
• Security
  
  
• GDPR & Privacy
  
  
• Project work such as ISO (re)certification
  
  
• Data analyses

You have…

• affinity with and a thorough basic knowledge of finance (be able to read income statements and balance sheets well, interpret ratios, etc.)
  
  
• basic accounting knowledge; there is an internal auditor. Experience in auditing is a plus!
  
  
• basic legal knowledge but above all an interest in learning more about it

• a healthy dose of common sense and logical reasoning, sup­ple­ment­ed with a lot of curiosity as well as a growth mindset and sleeves that are always rolled up: ready to fly!

• a lot of ambition and you are very organized. You have an eye for detail and like to think ahead. People can rely on you!
  
  
• analytical skills (Excel).
  
  
• com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills so there can be clear com­mu­ni­ca­tion and col­lab­o­ra­tion with stake­hold­ers inside and outside Kadonation.
  
  
• an innate talent for quickly under­stand­ing and deploying digital tools.
  
  
• perfect knowledge of Dutch and your English is also strong. French is a nice plus.
  
  
• a degree in Commercial Engi­neer­ing, TEW, Commercial Science or equivalent through experience.
  
  
• ideally a first relevant work experience, although this is not mandatory.
