Kadonation supports WeForest’s reforestation projects in Zambia.

Forests cover no less than 31% of our planet and are a vital source of oxygen. Yet every minute, an area of forest the size of 17 football pitches disappears. That adds up to 6.5 million hectares of forest lost every year. Along with these forests, entire ecosystems vanish too. This makes defor­esta­tion one of the biggest envi­ron­men­tal challenges we face today. But thankfully, there is hope, and hope keeps us moving forward.

At Kadonation, we aim to act respon­si­bly and contribute to a better world. Through our col­lab­o­ra­tion with WeForest, a total of 105,000 trees have been funded since 2017. The planting and management are carried out entirely by WeForest, which oversees follow-up, monitoring and reporting. All results are published annually in their publicly accessible Annual Report at www​.weforest​.org.

Through this initiative, we help restore local ecosystems, strengthen bio­di­ver­si­ty and support sus­tain­able employment oppor­tu­ni­ties for local com­mu­ni­ties. Our con­tri­bu­tion is one of many part­ner­ships that col­lec­tive­ly make a difference.
